U&O is an innovative start up company that produces and develops medical exoskeletons, medical
devices capable of aiding and improving mobility of people with lower limb disability.

U&O was founded near Piacenza by a highly qualified multidisciplinary team composed of mechatronic designers, computer engineers, mechanical engineers and physiotherapists.

All of them have joined forces and sharing a genuine interest in robotic devices, have transformed their idea, their passion into a tangible project, with the objective of actively helping users with severe neurological and neurodegenerative diseases by giving mobility back and enabling to patients to walk again.



Our Story

2014 the founders created the first prototype of exoskeleton “Lazzaro” and tested it on patients.

2016 U&O becomes an official company, recognized for its innovative approach in the field of exoskeletons. In the same year the founders developed a new and more advanced prototype device named “HU.GO", acronym for Human Going.

2018 U&O partner up with MATE, company whom specializes in designing and manufacturing of electronic systems, supporting U&O in the commercialization o f our devices into the market.

2020 The innovative medical exoskeleton HU.GO will be officially available on the market.

HU.GO is an innovative exoskeleton designed by U&O, our devices improve the rehabilitation process of the mobility functions enabling doctors and physiotherapists to address therapy according to patients needs.

HU.GO exoskeleton has been designed to achieve greater freedom of movement in patients with diseases, ensuring the efficacy of therapy together with an easy use and application.

This device has a touchscreen interface for an easy setup and an intuitive control.
 All the parameters of the device such as walking sequence, speed, intensity, step distance, stance/swing cycle ratio, control of muscle hypertonicity and security system can be easily set through the monitor

The movements of the patients is fully assisted by HU.GO.


Active:

HU.GO partially assists the movement of the patients, for enhanche the residual motion ability.
